Day 16

Had a quite relaxing  day at work today, not alot of patients and not to much to do.
The phone however is a another issue, it will never ever stop ringing.
But heh, that is just the way my work is.

After work i went and had our shopping done while hubbie went for a haircut.
The hairdresser was a bit late so hubbie almost missed the bus home.
But thanks to the lovely busdriver (who actually stood still with the bus and waited for hubbie while he ran to the busstop) both of us got home around 18.00. 

I'm also trying to bake crispy bread รก la LCHF, still don't know if i done them successfully, we'll see tomorrow morning. (I almost always fail first time baking something)

What i've eaten today:

Breakfast: Nothing at all.

Lunch: 3/4 Omelette, 4 slices of bacon and bearnaise sauce.

Dinner: Wok veggies, 2 pieces of fish and kebab sauce.

Extras: Coffee, about 8 cups with full fat milk.

So yeah, that is my day.
Not to much to say really...

Day 15


So workday today..
God i bloody hate mondays, i really do....
But been a really good day still, and there is only one thing that made it as good as it's been.
Workmates.
Yep, don't know what i would do without some of my workmates.
(You know who you are)
If you also have workmates that just makes your heart warm, you know what i speak about.
I mean you can have a crappy day, and then someone says something funny and you just have a laugh together.
It is awesome!!!

What i've eaten today:

Breakfast: 1/2 Omelette, 3 slices of bacon and bearnaise sauce.

Lunch: Nothing, or well a couple of nuts and coffee.

Dinner5 slices of bacon and a quarter of an omelette with kebab sauce.

Extras: Coffee, about 8 cups with full fat milk.

So done awesome with food today aswell.
Put it all down in a calculator and got perfect numbers!!
82% Fat, 14% Protein and 4% Carbs.
As you can see i absolutely love bacon right now.
Think i have to eat other things though, afraid that i might get tired of bacon otherwise.

Anyway, time for bed soon so time to chill out a wee bit.

Day 14

Arrgghh, i'm quite lazy if you haven't noticed??
You remeber i said yesterday i was gonna go for a walk today?
Well, that never happend, had the best excuse ever....
It's raining...
Like i said best excuse ever.
Instead i've been washing, and wooohooo, i'm almost at the bottom of the basket!
Yay me!

Also been sitting online today, looking at this and that, still have a few pieces left for christmas.
Feel so great this year though, firstly, i'm almost done with all the pressies.
Secondly, i already planned what candy to make and what else fun me and the kiddies going to have like building our own gingerbread-house. (And no, we are not ever speaking about the fail-house i almost built last year)
I just feel like i've planned everything so good this year, and i'm not as stressed as i usually am.
What about you?? Have you planned anything this year?

But back to my diet.
I'm so proud of loosing weight this week aswell, -1.1kg.
And here i was thinking that i hadn't lost anything at all, obviously i was wrong.
And thank god for that....
So for next week i'm hoping on the same, although i'm going out on friday, so hopefully i can stay on diet then aswell....
We'll see.

Breakfast: Nothing, wasn't hungry.

Lunch: Nothing here either, had some problems here though. Got hungry around 14.00 but it was to close to  
           dinner so i had some coffee and water.

Dinner: 2 slices of Porkmeat with bacon, 1 Omelette and Bearnaise sauce.

Extras: Coffee, about 7 cups with full fat milk (can't live without it.)

Like i said, proud of myself this past week.
Good things happening this week, getting some new clothing items that i ordered (I'll show you once i get them), getting a haircut, re-dying my hair, going out on friday, and then visiting a school with our daughter on saturday.
Full week...
But now i'm going to be a bit more lazy and watch some TV before bedtime.

Sunday Weigh-In Week 2

Two weeks, time really goes fast!
This week been quite good to be honest, no cheating or anything.
It felt to easy this week however and i was really worried this morning about getting up on the scale as i actually didn't think that i would have lost any weight what so ever...

The only problem i really had during last week was the fact that i've had such a craving for sweets, but somehow i got past it. 
I fried alot of bacon in butter during my meals and that might have helped as bacon in butter get quite a sweet taste to it.
I know that i will have to start finding some new things to eat, as right now it kinda feels like i'm living off egg and bacon all the time. But then again it is an easy thing to eat as i don't need to obsess to much about how many carbs it's in it.
I'm going to see however if i can maybe stop eating as many nuts as i do, they do contain alot of carbs, some days i know i've had about 30grams of carbs due to eating nuts.
And i should be around 20 grams a day or less to loose optimal weight.

In regards to my stomach pains i've been having since i started the diet.
They are now all gone thanks to the pill for gastric catarrh i take every day.
Yay, is all i have to say about that!!
I'm going to keep on taking them for a week, and then see if i can get rid of them again.

Ahh well, here we go then:

Lost this week: -1.1 kg

Start: 115 cm
Today: 113 cm
Lost this week: -1 cm
Lost total: -2 cm

I know that deep inside i'm wishing for magic numbers and for the weight to just drop off me like never before. But i mean -1.1 kg, it is what i should be loosing on a weekly basis to loose the weight in a healthy manor and this way i don't get any loose skin hanging around my body.
So yeah, i am happy about this week.

Day 13


Lovely Saturday morning.
Even though it seems that me and hubbie can't sleep for long in the morning these days.
Yeah, we went up at 07.20 this morning.....
We're kids free this weekend so to just get time to sit with your coffee in peace and quiet is the best.
If your a parent you'll know what i say, if not, well you just wait and see!!
So this day has been yet another lazy day.
I really need to go for a walk or something tomorrow.

What i've eaten today:

Breakfast: 6 slices of fried bacon with 2 fried eggs.

Lunch: Nothing at all, breakfast was really more of a brunch.

DinnerOmelette with sourcreme and onions, red paprika, ham.

Extras: Coffee, about 9!!! cups with milk (yeah think that went a bit over the top today).

I'm really worried about getting on the scale tomorrow.
It doesn't feel like i lost any weight at all this week unfortunatly.
And the funny thing is, i've not been over eating, i've not failed with my food at all.
But ahh well, lets keep fingers crossed, yeah??

Day 12


Had a really lazy day today.
Had to stay home with the kiddies as they are now allowed back to school until it's been 48 hrs after they've puked.
Our sons woke up this morning all fine again though, had a bath followed by breakfast and then played on the X-Box 360 while doing the normal bickering every now and then.
At 13.30 they went to their dads and i just sat lazy on the couch, except for one trip to the store, before hubbie came home from work.
So like i said, just a really lazy day...

What i've eaten today:

Breakfast: 6 slices of fried bacon with some onionsauce.

Lunch: Three handful of nuts.

DinnerOmelette with 6 slices of bacon and some sauce.

Extras: Coffee, about 5 cups with full fat milk and a cup of tea in the morning.

Had some really bad cravings today for candy, still do, and to top that it doesn't feel like i lost a single gram this week.
Had a check today and i ate about 2400 calories(!!), not going to loose any bloody weight by eating like that....
Although i'm thinking i might have been eating even though i'm not hungry today because i had these cravings?
Well who knows, we'll see on Sunday what the scale shows..
Time to just relax with my hubbie, kiddies free weekend!!!

Day 11


So kiddies got stomach flu.
Alex started puking last night, so i stayed up with him on and off all night.
Managed to get some sleep though.
Halfway through the day today Maxi started puking aswell, awesome right??
Kiddies are amazing though, in the afternoon they were back to their normal selfes again.
If that would have been me, i'd stayed in bed for days, whining away...

By the way i have the best hubbie in the world, he stayed home with the kids all day and i got to go to work.
So tomorrow it is my turn to stay home and he'll get to go to work.
Now let's just pray that me and hubbie don't end up with it...

Breakfast: 1/2 Omelette with 4 slices of bacon and bearnaise sauce.

Lunch: Two handful of nuts. Wasn't all that hungry.

DinnerChicken fried in butter with a small omelette and bearnaise sauce.

In regards to my stomach pains.
I tried a pill for gastric catarrh today, and guess what??
No stomach pains what so ever all day.
Just awesome!!
But for some reason my throat hurts like hell now, yeah i know, i whine a lot..
But it does hurt.
Hopefully it is just something that will pass...

Anyway, time to watch some "Hart of Dixie" with hubbie and then it's finally bedtime.

Day 10


Normally i'm not really a morning person.
But this morning i actually woke up feeling all refreshed and wide awake.
And you know what, it wasn't even the coffee that was resposible for it!!
So yeah that was a nice feeling for once to be honest.
The full day had actually been quite good, maybe it was because of the lack of a boss on my ward or maybe it was just a really good day at work over all??
I have no idea, but still happy about it.

What i've eaten today:

Breakfast: 1/2 Omelette with 4 small sausages and bearnaise sauce.

Lunch: A couple of nuts. Wasn't hungry.

DinnerBacon with a sallad of lettuce, cucumber and onion. 1/2 fried egg in butter.

Extras: Coffee, about 7 cups with full fat milk.

Foodwise i've done well today (think i ended up with roughly 1400 calories over all),
but now i'm sitting here with some stomach pains again.
Starting to think that my old ulcer is acting up cause of the fat in all food??
No idea, going to try some tablets tomorrow and see if it helps.
Hopefully it will.
Not nice having these pains all the time, but we'll see tomorrow.

For now have a great evening, i'm going to watch some TV before bedtime.

Day 9


Hmmm....
You remember that i told you about me doing this diet partly to get rid of all my stomach pains??
Well last night i woke up at 3.30 with horrible pains, and then when we got up at 5.00 they where still there.
Stomach wasn't happy this morning, at all....
I really thought i wouldn't have anymore pains as soon as i started this diet, but i'm guessing that it isn't that easy.
Maybe it is like with the body, it takes a few days/weeks to get used to everything?
Well i sure do hope that is the case.

I'm also getting abit worried about not being all that hungry, hopefully i still eat enough.
Think i might try and calculate for a few days how many calories i do eat, although you are not supposed to have to count them when on LCHF.
But seeing that i only eat once or twice a day, i think i'll have to do this anyway.

Breakfast: A handful of nuts, wasn't hungry.

Lunch: Nothing, i actually forgot about lunch so i guess i wasn't hungry.

Dinner: Family had fish and chips, so i had fish that was extra fried in butter in the pan with lettuce, cucumber, onion and fat garlic sauce.

Extras: Coffee, about 5 cups with full fat milk and a cup of tea.

Was a nice day today once the stomachpains got away.
I had the day off from work and have done some shopping and washing.
But pretty much just a lazy day, tomorrow it is time for work again...

Day 8

Wow, this day went by so fast!!
Had parental duties today, so been in a meeting with our daughters teacher about what she needs to study more, and what to improve and so on.
Must say that i'm really proud of her as she is doing really great in school, which also means that we must have done something right as parents, right??

You remember that awful breath i told you about yesterday??
Well it is now so bad i can not for the life of me stand it myself!!
Thank god for the small mints i found for the breath to improve.
I actually even had to take one at four in the morning when i just woke up, couldn't stand myself....

Foodwise i've done really well today as you can see:

Breakfast: 1/2 Omelette, 4 small sausages (80% meat) and bearnaise sauce.

Lunch: Nothing, wasn't hungry.

DinnerNot that much, family had a quick dinner at "Fifflers" (a sandwich shop). I had some of the filling they use in their baugettes (kebab, mayonnaise, onion, paprika, pickles and spices)with 3 lettuce leafs and some cucumber.

Extras: Coffee, about 5 cups with full fat milk and a half size coffe from Wayne's Coffe (the best coffee in the world by the way!!)

Also today it's my mother in laws b-day.
