5:2 Fast Diet, day 2 of fasting.

So yeah, as it says, day 2 today!

Don't know if I told you, but I started the fast diet...
Why, well the honest truth??
-I bloody we'll need it... I checked my BMI (roughly 36!!!!!) and realized if I don't do anything about it now, I'm gonna get problems along the way due to my weight. I'm going to show you something I never ever show normally, but here's the pictures from yesterday. This will be my only way of seeing the difference as I won't stand on the scale or measuring myself at all. 
And no, I'm not pregnant, just fat....

And I must admit, I'm actually doing better than I thought.
After the first day of fasting I felt a bit ill to be completely honest. I had headache, and for some reason I had pain in my legs. I think I didn't have enough water to drink, but then when I started to eat again I got pains in my stomach instead. 
But I guess it's all a learning curve, what I've learned so far is drink water, lots if water when fasting. I mean even when you think you've had enough, still drink some more. And the day after your fast, eat lighter food, otherwise it will just feel like bricks falling through your system.

Anyway, sitting here with my breakfast now. Modifast - Banana Shake, a huge glass of water and of course the mandatory cup of coffee.

Today is the first day of the rest of my life!
New Year, same old me, but hopefully a healthier me. 
No more over eating, going to see if I can handle the 5:2 way of eating. Also going to be more active, as a mum, wife and as a living person. No more couch potato, need to start taking care of this body of mine before something bad happens due to my overweight.
So here's for 2014!
